How to install or uninstall apps on Microsoft Teams

What is Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams also called Teams, was launched worldwide on March 14, 2017, in New York, and is currently led by Brian MacDonald, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft. It is a platform where all communication including chat, video meetings, file storage, and application integration can take place. The service incorporates the Office 365 subscription office productivity suite and provides extensions that can incorporate with non-Microsoft products. Microsoft Teams can be considered a competitor to services like Slack and is the advancement of Microsoft Skype for Business.

Apps are small programs on Microsoft Teams, just like the extensions on a web browser but they’re specially made in a way that will grow collaboration and increase productivity, whether you work remotely or from the office.

Other services are usually incorporated into Microsoft Teams using these apps. For example, you can create Microsoft To-Do tasks from Teams messages using Tasks app. Bing images can be searched and shared into a channel or chat using a handy tool called Microsoft’s Images. You can get quick options to begin, plan, and join Zoom meetings and maintain your workflow using Zoom add-on.

Microsoft Teams allows you to install these apps from numerous areas within the experience, and delete them effortlessly when they are not needed.
